In the scope of the worldwide “Baking with Nutella” campaign, together with Ferrero and international designers, koziol developed exclusive baking assistants for making Christmas biscuits – the Nutella-Multitool: Two biscuit cutters, four stencils and four further multitools for decorating biscuits with Christmassy motifs were integrated into the lid of the Nutella jars as onpack items.
All elements have a function, so no waste is produced. The entire series comprises of thermoplastic material that is 100% recyclable, free from plasticisers and harmful substances as well as being food-safe. The items were manufactured in Germany using green energy in compliance with the strictest environmental guidelines.
The challenge lay in turning an extremely flat, compact product into a functional kitchen assistant and thus offering the target group a clear additional function as well as promoting sales by prompting the customers to buy the collectible multitools. Koziol mastered the challenge with flying colours and furthermore due to the high design quality and elaborate implementation of the items at the same time also earned itself a distinction in the category Best Practice.
