A special video book was designed by the creative agency dialog one Direkt Marketing on behalf of the company Vaillant. The idea behind it: An analogue printed item with digital contents. Containing several pages and an integrated, central screen, the page-turning book in DIN A4 format informs B2B customers using a combination between written text and supplementary explanatory videos about the heat pump line-up of Vaillant. A corresponding punch-out grants a view of the 7 inch HD-IPS screen from all sides. On turning the pages, a film corresponding to the respective text appears on the screen. The volume can be adjusted using a volume control wheel on the side.
Due to the connection between moving image content and individually printed text, the Page-Turning-Book is ideal for communicating complex and highly visual contents. The video book unites the advantages of an analogue, haptic means of communication with the digital world and thereby secured itself a Promotional Gift Award in the category Custom-made Designs.
