There are desk lamps and scaffold components, which up until now belonged to two completely different worlds. However, in the form of the Desk Scaffolding Lamp, Präsentstudio Soennecken has found a new way of combining both worlds in a stylish and extremely eye-catching way.
The stand of the LED desk lamp that is produced in Germany is made from an original scaffold base like the ones found on countless building sites. The LED light strip is mounted in the opening of the threaded foot. The Desk Scaffolding Lamp can be turned on and off via a switch on the lamp head. So that the LED strip doesn’t overheat, additional cooling ribs were fitted inside the lamp. The angle of the lamp can be adjusted by turning the scaffolding screw jack.
A weight triplication of the lamp base that can be individualised with a laser engraving ensures a secure hold and felt gliders are attached to the lamp base to avoid ugly scratches on the desk. The lamp is packed as a construction set to make it easier for sales representatives to distribute it. The overall concept convinced the jury: The Desk Scaffolding Lamp won a Promotional Gift Award in the category Custom-made Designs for its high promotional impact.
