Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag has among others developed a plastic-free version of the bestseller and won a Promotional Gift Award in the category Communicative Products for the Qwixx – Natureline.
The sustainable, new edition of Qwixx is “made in Germany” and free from plastic: The dice are completely made from FSC-certified wood, the scorecards and the rules in eight languages are printed on recycled paper, a flyer made from seed paper is included. The four pencils are produced from non-varnished, FSC-certified wood, the inverted lid box from recycled cardboard and instead of a plastic film a slipcase also made of recycled cardboard protects the game. The entire product is manufactured using environmentally-friendly, water-based inks and varnishes. Finally, all four sides of the promotional slipcase can be freely designed – ideal for companies that want to combine and communicate a holistic sustainable approach with gaming fun.
