The ballpoint pen Reco by Schneider Schreibgeräte not only convinces with its streamlined, dynamic design in combination with a matt shimmering surface – it also especially excels in terms of its sustainability:
Schneider produces the writing instruments exclusively in Germany using renewable energy. The Reco is made from recycled material to 92%, which is obtained from the plastic waste of private households. It is equipped with the large-capacity refill, Eco 725, which is also made from recycled material. Both the ballpoint pen and the refill bear the environmental seal, the Blue Angel.
Seven printing surfaces can be customised with a four-coloured pad print, which can on request also be certified with the Blue Angel. The barrel comes in white or black, the pusher, barrel extension, clip and tip can be realised in ten different shades and for orders of 10,000 pieces upwards, special colours are also possible. Furthermore, there is a selection between two fibre-reinforced and shatterproof clip versions: a printable standard clip and a grooved clip.
According to the manufacturer, Reco is the first ballpoint pen that has ever been distinguished with the strict, Blue Angel ecolabel. Schneider even developed a new paste in order to fulfil the high demands of the famous environmental seal, the result is the Eco 725 M refill that is also certified with the Blue Angel seal. In return, this immense dedication and high-quality implementation engagement was rewarded with a Promotional Gift Award in the category Give-aways.
