It looks like the lid of a paint bucket, which it is supposed to, but it isn’t one. It is actually a comfortable cushion made of high-quality, water-repellent polyester, which is designed to imitate the look, quality and impression of a Caparol paint bucket. The specifications for the item that was developed by the agency Rheinwelt as an onpack for Caparol were that it should be flexibly implementable and – in contrast to the previous product – not purely useable in connection with the bucket. A version for round buckets was to be designed as well. A special feature of the innovative execution is its two-layered design, the lower foam insert is made to fit the interior shape of the lid, the upper insert is styled on the exterior contour. As such the cushion fits perfectly on top or inside the lid of the bucket thus turning it into the ideal seat during breaks. But the cushion that is produced in the EU can also be used separately as a comfortable seat pad – i.e. in the garden or stadium. Caparol implemented the product that was distinguished at the Promotional Gift Award 2019 in the category Best Practice in 2018 for two onpack campaigns in the paint wholesale trade. The cushion can be customised using all common methods such as sublimation or screen printing for instance, as well as woven, sublimation or rubber badge labels or logo laser prints. Furthermore the item can be enhanced by a personalised carrying strap, individual packaging is also possible.
