Bartenbach secured themselves a Promotional Gift Award 2019 in the category Best Practice with an advertising campaign focusing on the company itself. The mailing that was entered for the competition aimed to draw attention to the agency’s competence in the field of laboratory analysis/medical technology and at the same time demonstrate the potential to perspective new customers that a creatively supported brand launch offers their product or company. The mailing that was distributed to medical technology manufacturers epitomises the wellknown figure of speech that describes the passion and commitment of a creative process through to the pain threshold: Three small bottles containing red, yellow and blue ink symbolise blood, sweat and tears. The ink can be filled into the enclosed fountain pen, which the recipient can use to continue writing the success story of his brand – supported naturally by the communication agency Bartenbach, which the promotional product was designed for. Both the labels of the bottles as well as the fountain pen were embellished with the Bartenbach branding. The mailing was accompanied by a personalised cover letter. The extraordinary implementation of the “sample delivery from the creative laboratory” was used as the basis for a follow-up telephone acquisition – a good starting point for pursuing discussions.
