It more or less enjoys cult status with the business customers and partners of the Deutsche Post DHL Group: The annual Advent calendar of the globally operating logistics company has in the meantime become a collector’s item. This year in cooperation with the advertising agency, Maas, the Chocolate Advent Calendar Christmas House 2022 is presenting a mosaic comprising of 24 small boxes that are filled with chocolate specialities of the Lindt brand. Lovingly designed illustrations portray all of the company’s business areas, plus two themes that are important for the group, diversity and sustainability. The Christmas House 2022 that is completely made of cardboard was delivered as a pre-Xmas gift by DHL Paket, of course, which used its in-house GoGreen dispatch service to send out the Advent calendar via in a climate neutral manner.
The cardboard manufacturers have been deploying a 100% climate neutral process since 2017 and support many social and cultural projects in their region. The cardboard is additionally recyclable and food-safe. The Christmas House 2022 can be reused and filled again and again with new gifts. However, if its service life does come to an end one day, nearly all of the materials can be reimplemented after the original usage. An overall package that impressed the jury: The Deutsche Post and the advertising agency Maas picked up a Promotional Gift Award in the category Best Practice for the Chocolate Advent Calendar Christmas House 2022.
