Braas produces high-quality roof sheeting that is used for many new roofs and roof insulations across Europe. When searching for the appropriate design for a promotional product, it was important to the company that a product with a strong association to the brand was developed and that it was made out of recycled materials. In cooperation with the promotional products agency Sympathie Werbe-Service and the calendar and notebook specialists Brunnen & Eilers, the result was the “made in Germany” notepad Divoroll Universal+ 2S, the cover of which is produced from existing sheeting and leftover underlay from Braas’ production and which won a Promotional Gift Award in the category Custom-made Designs.
Using the insulating material has several advantages: The sheeting is waterproof, extremely robust and has a very high recognition value. Processing the very stiff, strong material appropriately proved to be a technical challenge that the involved parties mastered with flying colours.
The notebook was additionally customised with a discrete, elegant colour foil embossing of the Braas logo directly on the cover, but the material itself provided a high level of recognition among roofers, architects and companies that implement the product on a daily basis.
