Big is beautiful. This at least applies for teddy bears, especially when they are as affectionately designed as the Bärenmarke Teddy Bears, with which Margarete Steiff won a Promotional Gift Award 2020 in the category Custom-made Designs in collaboration with the German brand for dairy products.
The true-to-detail replicated bear was designed as an 80 cm sized version for the POS display, in order to attract attention at the highly competitive point of sale and was also part of a national prize draw. A smaller 30 cm model of the cuddly promotional product was additionally developed for sale online and in the merchandise shop. Both bears comply with the European toy standard, EN 71, are equipped with the famous button in their ear and a Bärenmarke logo on the breast. As such, a double brand ambassador was created, which went down especially well with children and families. Alongside the two cuddly toys a walking act was also devised for the marketing activities of Bärenmarke.
