One book, many options: The A4 notebook/sketchbook that Hedi Grosse & Partner submitted to the Promotional Gift Award 2016, convinced on many fronts, whereby it ultimately won the race in the category Best Practice. In order to vividly demonstrate the usage of the linoleum flooring of the product range of the manufacturer Armstrong, it was implemented as a book cover and imprinted with the customer’s logo. The book that featured project-related introduction pages and a spiral binding was designed for the trade fair participation of a company at the trade show, Bau 2015 (a building fair).
The mysterious exterior of the exhibition stand already attracted attention from afar – close up the outside wall turned out to be a permeable curtain made of different samples of linoleum, matching the colours of the linoleum sketchbooks. The guests were able to pull out the colourful books and keep them. Thanks to their haptics and high practical value they are bound to be picked up again and again and thus provide valuable services as haptic messengers.
Hard work also goes into the advertised DLW linoleum, which, made out of linseed oil, wood dust, cork and resin, is distinguished with the Blue Angel. The substrate material is made out of jute.
