Werbemax designed the Added Value Crown “King Ludwig II” for a tourist company. The idea for this paper crown arose from the 2014 campaign motto of the tourist resort Prien am Chiemsee “Royal Prien”. This is a reference to the historical connection between King Ludwig II and the Herrenchiemsee Island. Diverse partner companies of the tourist agency, Priener Tourismus GmbH, offered special conditions, a voucher for various activities around the Chiemsee were namely hidden behind each point of the added value crown. The Spa & Tourist Office additionally organised a photo competition, which sought photos of families wearing the crowns. The crowns were made out of FSC and PEFC-certified paper from Suthor in Germany. They were implemented at different events.
The item won a Promotional Gift Award in the category Best Practice for the “perfect implementation of the campaign motto”.
